LEFTOVERS is a project that aims to draw attention to consumerism and the consequences of fast fashion, one of the most polluting industries in the world.
The series LEFTOVERS is inspired by the shocking images showing gigantic clothing dumps in the Atacama desert in Chile where mountains of clothing completely cover nature, suffocating it with their sinuous shapes and bright colors and patterns.
LEFTOVERS adopts typical elements of urban artistic expressions such as intertwining, horror vacui, bright colours, overlapping shapes and continuous flow which places it stylistically in line with graffiti, Wild Style and visual protest.
