Ecos

ECOS is a series of colorful, expressionist works inspired by landscapes, primarily mountains and lakes, many of them captured during my travels to Morocco, Switzerland, and Italy. The series combines the force of natural perception with the freedom of painterly gesture, creating atmospheres that convey both the vastness of the landscape and the intensity of personal experience.

The title of the series refers to two dimensions of nature: the sound that returns to us from the environment —the echo— and the ecological awareness that connects us to it. Each work seeks to capture this resonance, this interaction between the external world and the artist’s gaze, where color and form function as vehicles of memory and feeling, evoking the vibration of the landscapes and the energy of the places visited.

ECOS thus proposes a reflection on the relationship between nature and painting: a dialogue between the physical presence of the landscape and the subjective imprint of the expressionist gesture, where light, color, and composition become visual echoes that endure beyond the moment.
