Sin retorno is a painting situated at the threshold between landscape and emotion, where light and movement become the driving forces. Inspired by the atmospheric intensity of Turner and the contained energy of The Great Wave by Hokusai, the work explores impulse as an inevitable experience: a moment of tension from which there is no return.
Created entirely using fingers and hands, the pictorial matter and gesture construct a scene in constant transformation, where light penetrates and alters space. Moving between abstraction and expressionism, the work proposes an emotional landscape in which the movement of water, air, and inner energy merge into an open, vibrant, and deeply sensory image.
