Preparations for BIOPHILIA. Passion for Life continue to move forward. The group exhibition will open next October at the La Concepción Botanical-Historical Garden in Málaga.
The project has entered a new phase, with the eight participating artists putting the finishing touches on the works that will be featured in the exhibition. At the same time, work is progressing on the Artists’ Booklet and the exhibition’s visual identity.
Inspired by Erich Fromm’s concept of biophilia as a love of life, BIOPHILIA. Passion for Life brings together a carefully curated selection of artworks that explore life in its many dimensions. Rather than focusing exclusively on nature, the exhibition offers a broader reflection on creativity and the many ways in which contemporary art can express our relationship with life.
The exhibition features works by Carlos Miguel, Griselda Giachero, Maribel Nuevo, Morgan, Neno Herrera, Peter Varga, Rocío Davó Berdejo and Rosana Larraz. Together, they represent a group of artists with diverse backgrounds and extensive exhibition experience. While each artist has developed a distinctive visual language, they all share a deeply humanistic vision, grounded in values such as respect, freedom, care and a deep connection with life.
The project is coordinated by Rosana Larraz, who is also responsible for its curatorial and editorial development.
