LUMINA is a series of expressionist and abstract works that explore light as the origin of atmosphere and form. Largely inspired by the intensity of the Baroque and the audacity of Mannerism, the series establishes a contemporary dialogue with the great masters who understood painting as a space of tension, energy, and transformation.
Some of the pieces draw inspiration from frescoes of the great European pictorial tradition, stripped here of their original meaning and revisited as territories of pure pictorial force.
