Biography
Born in Zaragoza, Spain, Rosana Larraz is a visual artist whose work explores light, atmosphere, and emotion through a language that merges abstraction and expressionism. She has a background in art history, holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, and has extensive experience as a researcher in intercultural communication. This academic foundation informs her approach to painting, allowing her to explore art as a multifaceted phenomenon deeply intertwined with society and cultural dialogue.
Rosana lived for several years in Switzerland, particularly in Basel, where the city’s vibrant art scene inspired her to fully embrace painting. In 2023, she established her studio in Málaga, Spain, where she currently lives and works.
In just two and a half years, she has developed an intense national and international exhibition activity, including presence in Vienna and Zurich, as well as numerous shows across Spain. Her work has been recognized with the Fusión Tartget Prize and selections in specialized competitions such as the Abstract Art Salon in Madrid. She combines her artistic practice with curatorial work. With 12 exhibitions planned in 2025, her trajectory reflects both consistency and rapid professional growth.
