Biography
Born in Zaragoza, Spain, Rosana Larraz is a visual artist whose work explores light, atmosphere, and emotion through a language that merges abstraction and expressionism. She holds a degree in Art History, a Master’s in Applied Linguistics, and has extensive experience as a researcher in intercultural communication. This academic foundation shapes her approach to painting, allowing her to explore art as a multifaceted phenomenon deeply intertwined with society and cultural dialogue.
Rosana lived for several years in Switzerland, especially in Basel, where the city’s vibrant art scene inspired her to fully dedicate herself to painting. In 2023, she established her studio in Málaga, where she currently lives and works.
In just three years, she has developed an intense exhibition activity, both nationally and internationally, including presence in Vienna and Zurich, as well as numerous shows throughout Spain. Her work has been recognized with the Fusión Tartget Prize and selections in specialized competitions such as the Abstract Art Salon in Madrid. She combines her artistic practice with curatorial work. With 12 exhibitions held in 2025, her trajectory reflects her consistency and professional growth.
