Así de intensa
Así de intensa /Just That Intense

Rosana Larraz has taken part in the XI Abstract Art Salon of Madrid, organized by the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors (AEPE), following a prior selection process that highlights the quality and rigor of the participating artists. The exhibition of finalists was held at Centro Cultural La Vaguada, a venue closely linked to the origins of this initiative.

Larraz presented the work “Así de intensa” (Just That Intense), from her series Impulsos, a piece that reflects her ongoing exploration of light, atmosphere, and emotional intensity through abstraction. Founded in 2015, the Madrid Abstract Art Salon was created with the aim of fostering reflection and knowledge around abstraction as a contemporary artistic language. Over the years, it has established itself as a space for creative freedom, where color, form, and texture become essential tools for visual expression beyond representation.

Now in its eleventh edition, the salon has become a key event in Madrid’s exhibition calendar, supported by the Fuencarral-El Pardo District Council. Backed by the long-standing prestige of the AEPE, with over a century of artistic activity, the exhibition brings together a wide range of approaches to abstraction, inviting viewers into a sensory and interpretative experience.

Larraz’s participation reinforces her presence in contemporary abstract art contexts, contributing to a collective dialogue that emphasizes subjectivity, perception, and the transformative potential of painting.
